<p>PURPOSE: A method for preparing an aqueous dispersion containing one or more thickeners and 1,2-benzisothiazoline-3-one solid particles is provided to obtain the stable dispersion with small particle size. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an aqueous dispersion containing one or more thickeners and 1,2-benzisothiazoline-3-one solid particles comprises: a step of forming an aqueous mixture(I) containing water, dissolved salts of 1,2-benzisothiazoline-3-one, one or more thickeners; and a step of randomly mixing acid, the aqueous mixture(I), and one or more thickeners to form the aqueous dispersion of pH 1.5-7.5.</p> |
