PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article useful for mechanical skin resurfacing techniques.

SOLUTION: A coupling device for coupling a motorized apparatus to a disposable skin-contactable element includes: a first attachment surface arranged and configured for releasably coupling the coupling device to a surface of the motorized apparatus; and a second attachment surface arranged and configured for releasably coupling the disposable skin-contactable element to the coupling device, wherein the first and second surfaces are coupled to transfer motion between the first and second surfaces.
