<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of controlling the setting of gradation correction by using an optional recording material. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device includes a printer portion 2 for forming an image on a recording material; a reader portion 1 for reading an image of the recording material; a density converting portion 211 for converting a signal corresponding to the image read by the reader portion 1 into a signal indicating a density value; a gradation correcting portion 212 carrying out gradation correction of the density value of a signal outputted by the density converting portion 211 for forming the image read by the reader portion 1 on the recording material by the printer portion 2; and a control portion 220 controlling the setting of the gradation correction at the gradation correcting portion 212 by reading the image for gradation correction which is formed on the recording material by the printer portion 2, with the reader portion 1. When controlling the setting of the gradation correction, the control portion 220 changes setting for image formation at the printer portion 2 and setting for converting into the density value at the density converting portion 211, according to the recording material used for controlling the setting of the gradation correction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
