<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tempered glass, a manufacturing method therefor and a surface stress measuring method for the tempered glass in which the compression stress amount of tempered glass including a colored opaque part with low permeability in a visible region, is calculated in a nondestructive manner. <P>SOLUTION: Tempered glass 1 is obtained by layering and integrating colored opaque glass 10 and transparent glass 20 and forming a compression stress layer on a surface of the integrated glass. The heated and fused colored opaque glass 10 is cooled in contact with the transparent glass 20 in a solidified state, the colored opaque glass 10 is solidified to be layered and integrated and in that case, thermal tempering processing is performed. A measurement of a compression stress amount in a compression stress layer of the transparent glass 10 is used for calculating a compression stress amount of the colored opaque glass 10 or the tempered glass 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
