<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both the rigidity and the coolability of a support plate which supports and cools a battery module. <P>SOLUTION: A support plate 11 supporting a battery module includes: an upper plate 15 thermally contacting with a bottom surface of the battery module; and a lower plate 14 defining a cooling space where a cooling medium flows between itself and the upper plate 15. First reinforcement protrusions 14c and 14d protruding into the cooling space and extending in the flow direction of the cooling medium are formed on an upper surface of the lower plate 14, and a second reinforcement protrusion 15d extending in a direction that intersects with the flow direction of the cooling medium is formed on an upper surface of the upper plate 15. Thus, the rigidity is assured against bending in two directions with the first and second reinforcement protrusions 14c, 14d, and 15d. Further, since the first reinforcement protrusions 14c and 14d, protruding into the cooling space, extend in the flow direction of the cooling medium and the second reinforcement protrusion 15d protrudes to the exterior of the cooling space, the cooling capability is assured without inhibiting the flow of the cooling medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
