摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakage a stopper part of a differential case due to the input of an excessive negative torque and a positive torque to a ring gear, concerning a fastening part of the differential case and the ring gear. <P>SOLUTION: In the fastening structure of the ring gear constituted by fastening the ring gear 4 to a flange 3 of the differential case, the ring gear 4 is pressedly fitted to an outer peripheral surface 21 of the flange 3 in the pressedly fitting surface 12. The one end of the ring gear 4 in an axial direction by a caulking part 22 arranged in one end of the flange 3 in an axial direction X. The other end surface 14 of the ring gear 4 in the axial direction pressedly comes into contact with a stopper part 23 arranged in the other end of the flange 3 in the axial direction X.
