<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular headlight apparatus capable of controlling the dazzle action to a target object due to the delay of the follow-up. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular headlight apparatus, in which a control means 65 changes an area being irradiated based on the analysis results of an analysis means 61, when the target object B is detected in order to follow up a target object B until a shift angle θ exceeds the maximum trail angle, includes: a vehicle speed detection means 5 that detects the traveling speed of the vehicle A; and a second storage means 64 that stores a small trail angle that is smaller than the maximum trail angle.
