<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device having a simple structure and capable of focus detection with less influence on an image signal. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 comprises: a plurality of pixels each having a photoelectric converting section; and filters of a plurality of colors arranged for the pixels. The filters of the plurality of colors are arranged in a first arrangement in a first area, and are arranged in a second arrangement in a second area.
