Embodiments of the disclosure relate to medical devices and, in particular, to medical visualization systems and methods of use. In one embodiment, a medical visualization system may include a video source configured for insertion into a patient and an external data source. A central processing unit in communication with the video source and the external data source may be configured to merge data from the video source and data from the external data source into a left hybrid image and a right hybrid image. The medical visualization system may further include eyewear having left and right oculars in communication with the central processing unit. The left ocular and right ocular may each include a display, and the displays may be configured to project the left hybrid image on the left display and the right hybrid image on the right display.
