The invention relates an smart hydraulic pumping device for producing oil, recording pressures and temperature, establishing a temporary closure, restoring pressures and balancing pressures using one simple operation. The smart hydraulic pumping device of the invention comprises a jet pump assembly coupled to a down-hole shut-in valve that is coupled to a gauge carrier, forming a one-piece integral unit. The inclusion of the down-hole shut-in valve in the jet pump of the invention represents a technological advance hitherto unknown in the oil industry, owing to both the design and operation thereof, since the closure is generated by a system comprising a piston and two balls. The recovery of the smart device is generated by the opening of a by-pass upon injection of a power fluid in reverse at a low pressure (100 to 500 psi). |
