<p>Provided is an armrest that can be produced at a low cost and with a lightweight structure, and is able to prevent pinching of clothes or fingers by means of a simple structure. A core plate (20) and a cover member (30) are integrally formed, the core plate (20) is, excepting a portion of the surface thereof, covered by the cover member (30), and the base (21) of the core plate (20) is disposed face-to-face with a base member (10) provided with stoppers (10b, 10c) that limit the range of pivoting of the core plate (20). The contact between the stoppers (10b, 10c) and the core plate (20) in both a normal-use position and a flipped-up position of the armrest (1) is within the range that is covered by the cover member (30), and so clothing and fingers are not pinched between the two.</p> |
