The panel mounting device (1) is provided with catch sections (4) which are provided to the panel support columns (3) and latch sections (5) which are provided to the rear surface (21) of the panel and which are engaged with the catch sections when pressed from the panel side. The panel mounting device (1) is characterized in that the catch sections are provided so as to be capable of moving in the vertical direction relative to the panel support columns and that the catch sections can be disengaged from the latch sections when moved in the vertical direction.</p>
