The drive (1) has a gear, which is arranged in a receptacle of a housing (2) of the drive, where the gear interacts with an output shaft (3) for opening and closing of a door leaf. A piston is supported on a closing spring. The closing spring is supported on a spring collar for adjusting the closing force of the drive. A closing force display (11) is provided corresponding with a position of the spring plate. An adjusting unit has a catch, which rotates an indicator disk of the closing force display. The indicator disk of the closing force display is mounted in the recess of the housing.
