The linkage (115) has a coupling element (135) for fastening a wiper arm (130) at a wiper shaft (120), and a spring element (140) i.e. tension spring, for provision of contact pressure on the coupling element. An end section of the wiper arm is fastened at the coupling element. A recess (132) is formed in a region of another end section of the wiper arm for retaining a protecting element i.e. clip element, for preventing sliding out of the wiper arm from a wiper blade (110). The coupling element comprises a base body, and an attachment element is fastened at the wiper shaft.
