A bottle has a body (20) intermediate a neck (18) and a closed bottom (16) of the bottle. The body has an exterior surface defining a circumference of the body. The body includes a plurality of panel segments (44). Each panel segment has an upper panel end (60), a lower panel end (64), a length extending from the upper panel end to the lower panel end, opposite longitudinal sides (56), and a panel centerline (cl) extending at a substantially constant acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis (Al) of the bottle. The panel segments are disposed generally side-by- side around the circumference of the body. The exterior surface of each panel segment may be substantially planar along the circumferential width of the panel segment.
