PURPOSE: A vessel for offshore operations and an installation method of the vessel are provided to reduce acceleration or resistance to the upper part of a jack-up leg while sailing by lowering the installation height of the jack-up leg. CONSTITUTION: A vessel for offshore operations includes a hull(110), a crane(120), and a plurality of jack-up legs(130). The crane is arranged at the hull. The jack-up legs fold and unfold by the crane. An upper body and a lower body are arranged at each jack-up leg. The upper body and the lower body are hinge-combined using bolts. The jack-up legs are slidably combined with the through hole of the hull. A support is installed at the hull and supports folded jack-up legs.
