PURPOSE: A text input system and input method thereof are provided to reduce input time by inputting numbers through one number key without converting a keyboard through a function key. CONSTITUTION: White keys are basic consonants. Soft color keys are consonants which add a stroke to the basic consonants. Slightly darker color keys are consonants which add two strokes to the basic consonants. + keys(11,21) are used for inputting vowels. A 1 key(12) is a number input key. An entering function is executed by enabling a user to simply touch a key(22). A word spacing function is executed by enabling the user to touch a right side of the key. A deletion function is executed by enabling the user to touch a left side of the key. A keyboard is converted into an English keyboard by enabling the user to touch the key.
