PURPOSE: A method for preparing a Sakuranetin mixture is provided to selectively produce a large amount of necessary materials. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a Sakuranetin mixture comprises: a step of providing naringenin to a reaction solvent containing an organic solvent; and a step of providing basic compounds and methylating agent to the reaction solvent. The organic solvent is methanol, ethanol, ether, ethyl acetate, or tetrahydrofurane. The basic compounds include sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, or potassium hydroxide.
