A method of manufacture of a flexible article comprises the steps of: providing a matrix composition comprising a silicone elastomer and optionally a filler and mixing a plurality of additive granules into the matrix composition. The additive granules comprise a liquid additive. The matrix composition is then divided into a first portion and a second portion, and a catalyst and a cross-linking agent are added to the first and second portions respectively. The first and second portions of the composition are combined and the composition is allowed to cure. |
