<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an initialization method of a fuel cell stack and an initialization device wherein deviation of current distribution by chemical reaction inside the fuel cell electrode face is relieved and wettability of the electrode is effectively optimized. <P>SOLUTION: In order to initialize the fuel cell stack 1 in which a plurality of single cells arranged with the fuel electrode and the oxidizer electrode pinching an electrolyte membrane are laminated, when at least either one of the fuel gas that is a reaction gas or an oxidizer gas is supplied to the fuel cell stack 1, by a fuel gas supply switch valve 4 of the fuel gas supply piping 2 or an oxidizer gas supply switching valve 5 of the oxidizer gas supply piping 3, an electric current load by an electron loading device 6 is given to the fuel cell stack 1 while an inlet part and an exit part of the reaction gas are being switched. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
