The network has a source optical node group (GS) whose source optical nodes (NOS1-NOSm) are connected to an optical concentration node (NOC-gs). Each source node emits optical signals at wavelength specifically allocated to a pair formed by the source group and a recipient optical node group (GD). A source controller (C-gs) of the source group controls the emission. The concentration node merges the signals to obtain an aggregated optical signal. An optical distribution node (ND-gd) of the recipient group transmits the aggregated signal at the wavelength to recipient optical nodes (NOD1-NODn). The optical nodes are edge nodes, gateways and/or optical switches. An independent claim is also included for a method of transmission in an optical network. |
