<p>The method involves either passing an edge surface (1) on a grinding disk (3) or passing the grinding disk at the edge surface. The grinding disk is used for grinding, where circumferential grinding surface (6) is provided with circumferential projection (9). The projection is provided between the side edges. The circumferential projection is provided in engagement with edge surface only after the self centering of the side edge of a glazing through the rounded or tapered shape of areas (7,8) of the grinding surface. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a glazing, particularly sunroof glazing, which has a contour; (2) a grinding disk for executing a grinding method; and (3) a system, in which geometric dimensions of edge surface of a glazing and geometrical dimensions of grinding surface of the grinding wheel are coordinated to each other.</p> |
