PURPOSE: An energy storage apparatus for using different charging/discharging path, and an energy storage system thereof are provided to differently set up an electricity transmission path according to charge and discharge and to improve power efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A transformer(210) transforms the voltage inputted from input power. The transformer delivers electricity to a load through a first path. A charge and discharge part(220) is connected in parallel to the transformer. The charge and discharge part store the electricity output from the input power through a second path. The charge and discharge part deliver the electricity to the load through a third path.
