PURPOSE: A falling stone prevention net using a wire rope is provided to maximally prevent ground failure by maximizing supporting force and efficiently absorbing impact energy. CONSTITUTION: A falling stone prevention net using a wire rope comprises a pair of guide units(122), a pair of compression springs(121), and a center support(111). Two wire ropes penetrate through the guide units, and the guide units unite or separate the wire ropes. The compression springs are installed between the guide units. The center support couples the wire ropes to each other at the gap between the compression springs and fixes the coupled wire rope to the ground.
