BEARING OFFSET MEASURING METHOD

PURPOSE: A shaft bearing offset measurement method is provided to accurately measure a bearing offset required for shaft alignment by using measured bearing reaction force and to judge the stability of the shaft alignment. CONSTITUTION: A shaft bearing offset measurement method comprises next steps. The reaction force of the shaft alignment is measured. A bending moment function of the shaft alignment is defined by using the measured bearing reaction force. A strain function of the shaft alignment is defined by using the bending moment function. Bearing offsets at each bearing position are calculated by using the strain function of the shaft alignment.
