A simulated cigarette 1 has a reservoir 5 of an inhalable composition, an outlet valve 21 to control the outlet flow, and an outlet passage 9, 11, 13. The simulated cigarette 1 is wrapped in a paper or paper-like wrap 4, comprising an adhesive layer to stick to the housing of the simulated cigarette, a paper or paper-like layer and a polymer film to cover and protect the paper or paper-like layer, the wrap 4 providing a more realistic feel. The wrap 4 is provided with a fire retardant material at least in the region opposite to the outlet. The outlet end may be provided with a deformable material 31 to provide a more realistic feel and optionally to allow the user to vary the flow characteristics in the manner of a real cigarette. The outlet end can also be provided with a chemical heater, which may comprise elements located within the deformable material. |
