<p>An underwear pattern incorporating an S-shaped seam 1 which when closed forms a pouch 2. Such a pattern may be used to form the pouch 2 in a pair of briefs of shorts which may cradle the genitals of the wearer. The pouch 2 cups the testicles while guiding 5 the penis to the left or right hand side of the wearers body depending on direction of manufacture. The pattern enables the production of a garment using only a single-piece of fabric reducing the amount of fabric used and time spent in manufacture. The garment produced also provides full support to the wearer during sporting activities. The pattern may also be used in the production of the cups of a bra.</p> |
