<p>Aqueous ophthalmic compositions comprising natural or synthetic curcuminoids either alone or in combination, nonionic surfactant and co-solvent along with suitable ophthalmic excipients, effective in increasing the bioavailability of the active compounds when administered topically to the eye is disclosed herein.</p>
