PURPOSE: An in wheel driving apparatus is provided to improve the driving force of a motor with increasing driving torque while deceleration occurs in a second decelerating unit. CONSTITUTION: An in wheel driving apparatus(1) comprises a motor unit(10), a first decelerating unit(20), a second decelerating unit(30), a herb outer ring(40), and a wheel member. The motor unit generates power. The first decelerating unit is connected to a driving shaft(19) of the motor unit, and reduces the speed. The second decelerating unit comprises a sun gear(32), a planetary gear(34), and a carrier(38). The sun gear is connected to the first decelerating unit, and rotates. The planetary gear rotates along the circumference of the sun gear. The carrier rotates with the planetary gear. The herb outer ring is installed with wrapping the out side of the second decelerating unit. The herb outer ring comprises a ring gear interlocking with the planetary gear. The wheel member integrally rotates with the carrier, a tire is installed along the outer circumference. |
