#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves operating a fluid control device to perform dosed discharge of a preset fluid quantity from a dosing chamber. A dosing tip (3) of a dosing tube (2) is moved to approach a receiving channel (4) of a test element (6) i.e. disk, in an operating position. A fluid bridge is formed between the dosing tip and the receiving channel during dosed discharge of a fluid. Parts of the fluid are moved to reach the receiving channel by suction force, at end of the dosed discharge.
