PURPOSE: A multitasking operation method and apparatus thereof are provided to enable a user to effectively operate a plurality of functions by executing a multitasking service with a few resources. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(110) displays an execution screen according to a mini-mode and a full mode of an application. A storage unit(130) shares data by operating the full mode and the mini mode of the application. A control unit(150) determines a type of an executed event for executing the application. The control unit executes the full mode or the mini mode of the application according to the type of the executed event.
