<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of correctly capturing residues contained in inflation gas to be discharged from an inflator by an inner bag arranged therein. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag device includes an airbag 30 and a pyro type inflator 22. The airbag 30 has an outer bag 34 and an inner bag 38. A gas flow regulating means RM for regulating the flow direction of inflation gas G is arranged in the inner bag 38. The inner bag 38 has a capturing unit 40F capable of depositing and capturing residues MS contained in the inflation gas G on a fore end side along the flow direction of the inflation gas G with its flow direction being regulated by the gas flow regulating means RM. The inner bag 38 has an outflow hole 41 for allowing the inflation gas flowing in through an inlet opening 31 to flow out to the outer bag 34 side at the position deviated from an area of the capturing unit 40F. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
