The present invention relates to a method of producing a transportable container for bulk goods which seeks to form a transportable container for bulk goods with a transporter base (22) having a periphery and a wall extending upwardly from the periphery of the transporter base (22) to wall end with a radially extending lip, comprising the steps of: placing the transporter base (22)below a feed source (50); placing a bag (48) with an open top and a closed base between the transporter base (22) and the feed source (50), filling the bag (48), monitoring a fill level of the bulk goods in the bag (48) while filling the bag (48); disposing a portion of stretch wrap (38) around the wall and the radially extending lip of the transporter base (22), vertically moving the transporter base (22) relative to the feed source (50) and disposing additional portions of stretch wrap (38) around the bag (48).
