摘要 <p>A pixel clock signal is regenerated by determining first drift value D1 representing first time difference between reference clock signal RC and local clock signal LC based on local pixel clock signal LPC. LPC is adjusted according to a command to provide regenerated pixel clock signal RPC. Second drift value D2 represents second time difference between reference clock signal RC and regenerated pixel clock signal RPC. The command is provided to the adjustable clock generator 32 to adjust the local pixel clock signal LPC. Adjustment command relates to difference between first and second drift values. Accordingly, frame rate drift between source node providing video data and display node receiving video is compensated. Also, first correction means adjusts LPC signal by performing first adjustment based on first drift value to provide first corrected local clock signal, second correction means corrects LPC signal by performing second adjustment based on first drift value to provide second corrected local clock signal, wherein the first and second adjustments are different and the processing of the video signal is synchronised with the first corrected local clock signal and the display cadence is controlled by a control signal synchronised with the second corrected local clock signal.</p>
