<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start earlier an image forming processing of a new print data received next to a stopped print data when stopping an image forming operation of the print data on an image forming apparatus side. <P>SOLUTION: When a cancel command is inputted to a stop key by a user, a canceling object setting section 2081 sets a port number of print data being received by a communication section at this point, as a port number of print data to be canceled, and an overwriting object setting section 2082 sets print data stored in a data reception buffer 201a and having the port number of the canceling object, as print data of the overwriting object.
