PROPULSION APPARATUS FOR SHIP, AND SHIP HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A propulsion device and a ship with the same are provided to reversely rotate two propellers without using an outer shaft. CONSTITUTION: A propulsion device for a ship comprises a rear propeller(20), a front propeller(30), a reverse rotating device(70), and a housing(130). The rear propeller is fixed in a first driving shaft. The front propeller is rotatably supported in the first driving shaft in front of the rear propeller. The reverse rotating device reversely rotates the front and rear propellers based on the rotation of a second driving shaft. The second driving shaft penetrates through a hull and is installed in a direction vertically to the first driving shaft. The housing surrounds the second driving shaft and the reverse rotating device.
