<p>PURPOSE: An image processing method, an image processing device and a scanner are provided to correct a curved surface in a book page based on top and bottom outlines of a book. CONSTITUTION: An image processing device obtains a vanishing point on a curved surface in a 2D image(S220). The image processing device extracts all straight lines between long outlines among a top outline and a bottom outline of the curved surface and the vanishing point(S230). The image processing device removes a perspective distortion in the curved surface(S240). The image processing device calculates expanded width of each straight line in a 3D space(S260). The image processing device adds the expanded width of the straight lines to the whole expanded width of the curved surface(S270). The image processing device converts image contents on the curved surface into a planation surface(S280).
