PURPOSE: A valve assembly for a jetting valve is provided to stably operate the jetting valve by reducing abrasion between a protrusion of a valve needle and an armature as a large contact part is formed between an armature retainer and the protrusion. CONSTITUTION: A valve assembly(12) for a jetting valve(10) comprises a valve body, a valve needle(24), and an electromagnetic actuator unit(46). The valve body comprises a center longitudinal axis(L) and a cavity(20) with a fluid inflow portion(22) and a fluid outflow portion(21). The valve needle restricts the flow of fluid passing through the fluid outflow portion. The valve needle allows the fluid to circulate in other positions. The valve needle comprises a projected portion(28) extended in a radial direction. The electromagnetic actuator unit operates the valve needle, and armature of the electromagnetic actuator unit moves in the cavity in an axial direction.
