OPTICAL SEMICONDUCTOR BASED SURFACE LIGHTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An optical semiconductor based surface lighting device is provided to have a large light emitting surface by combining a lighting panel with both sides of a support frame with a semiconductor optical device and a light direction change member. CONSTITUTION: A support frame(20) includes a pair of support areas(20b,20c) and a center area(20a). A pair of light emitting panel(10) are inserted between an upper plate(22) and a lower plate(24). A light emitting module(30) includes a semiconductor optical device(34). The light emitting module is located on the lower part of the center area. A light direction change member(40) emits light from the semiconductor optical devices to a corner incident surface of the light emitting panel.
