FIRE DETECTION DEVICE BASED ON IMAGE PROCESSING WITH MOTION DETECT FUNCTION

PURPOSE: An automatic fire recognition system by image processing with motion recognition functionality is provided to extinguish fire in early stages by quickly providing area information for the fire occurrence location. CONSTITUTION: An image acquiring unit(100) acquires images taken with time intervals. An image converting unit(200) converts the images with time intervals acquired from the image acquiring unit into color signals for each pixel with time intervals. A motion vector acquiring unit(300) acquires motion vectors from the color signals for each pixel with time intervals converted at the image converting unit. A motion determining unit(400) determines flame or smoke from the motion vectors acquired from the motion vector acquiring unit. An event generating unit(500) generates an event in case of flame or smoke determined at the motion determining unit.
