PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel in which the gap unevenness between substrates at the end of a display area is suppressed. SOLUTION: A plurality of spacers 18 for maintaining the spacing between an array substrate and a counter substrate are disposed in the positions corresponding to the four edges of either one frame section 25 of the array substrate and the counter substrate. Ground patterns of the spacers 18 are set at an approximately equal height in each of the four edges of the frame section 25. When bonding together the array substrate and the counter substrate at the seal sections, the height unevenness at the four edges of the frame section 25 is suppressed, and thereby the gap unevenness between the array substrate and the counter substrate at the end of the display area can be suppressed.
