PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a bowing phenomenon occurring in the vicinity of a film joining domain. SOLUTION: The size in the film conveyance direction A of the joining domain 21 between a preceding film 3a and a succeeding film 3b is adjusted to be 0.2-2.2% of a film width. A film 3 after joining is subjected to stretching process, thermal relaxation process, etc. By securing the size of the joining domain 21 to be at least 0.2% of the film width, the preceding film 3a and the succeeding film 3b can surely be joined together. By adjusting the size of the joining domain to be 2.2% or below of the film width, the occurrence of the bowing phenomenon can be restricted within the joining domain 21.
