PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a new game property by leaving room for game player's selection for performances accompanying symbol variation in a pinball game machine. SOLUTION: In a pinball game machine of a certain mode, even when an advance notice candidate constituting an advance notice performance is once decided, the decision is invalidated if there is a cancellation inputted by a game player; and the performance shown in the advance notice candidate is shelved. As a result of those repeated cancellations, it becomes impossible for a game player to look at the advance noticed performances. In compensation for this, the other advance notice candidate having the degree of expectation corresponding to the accumulated value of expectation from the canceled advance notice candidates is selected. Namely, the game player can raise the possibility of experiencing the rare performances of relatively low frequency by canceling the display of the decided advance notice candidate by the player's own operation.
