<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery capable of maintaining high discharge-rate capacity, and restraining degradation of cycle capacity, in one equipped with a cathode layer containing a cathode active material, solid electrolyte, and an electrolyte decomposition inhibitor. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium secondary battery is provided with a cathode layer containing a cathode active material having solid powder on its surface containing primary particles including crystalline or amorphous lithium-ion conductive solid electrolyte and a crystalline electrolyte decomposition inhibitor, an anode layer, and organic electrolyte arranged so as to be in contact with the cathode active material having the solid powder on the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
