<p>The invention relates to an injector cooling block (1) for holding at least one injector (2) for introducing a medium into a metallurgical vessel (3), especially into an electric arc furnace, the injector cooling block (1) being arranged in or on a wall (4) of the metallurgical vessel (3). The injector block (1) comprises at least one plate (5) in which a cooling channel or a cooling bore (6) through which cooling medium can flow are arranged, said cooling channel or cooling bore (6) separating a hot zone (7) from a cold zone (8). In order to better detect temperatures or stresses in the injector cooling block, at least one measuring element (9) for measuring the temperature and/or the mechanical elongation is arranged in the hot zone (7), the measuring element (9) comprising at least one optical waveguide (10) which is integrated into the hot zone (7) or fastened to the hot zone (7).</p> |
