PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to improve productivity by reducing the number of processes and to prevent short between electrode plates, thereby being capable of improving safety. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises: at least one first electrode plate(11) with an active material layer(11a) intermittently coated in a longitudinal direction and an uncoated part(11b), which does not coated with the active material layer and is folded; at least one second electrode plate(13) alternately laminated with the first electrode plate and has a second active material layer(13a) intermittently coated in a second active material layer(13a) and a second uncoated part, which does not coated with the active material layer and is folded; and a separator(12) located each between the first and second electrode plates; and additionally comprises a first and second electrode tab(14,15) clamping at least one of the first and second uncoated parts. |
