PURPOSE: A closed external combustion engine for promoting a heat transfer is provided to uniformly maintain the output of an engine as the temperature of working fluid in a cylinder constantly changes regardless of the stroke position of a piston. CONSTITUTION: A closed external combustion engine for promoting a heat transfer comprises a cylinder for a high temperature chamber, a cylinder(20) for a low temperature chamber, pistons, a working fluid pipe, and a heat transfer unit(50). The heat transfer unit increases a contact area between working fluid in the cylinder and a heat medium supplied from heat supply devices. The heat transfer unit comprises a first heat transfer unit(51) and a second heat transfer unit(52). The first heat transfer unit is installed on a cylinder block. The second heat transfer unit is installed on the piston. |
