PURPOSE: A terminal capable of acoustic output and its output method is provided to offer optimal acoustic by adjusting the signal level of acoustic output according to a user's hearing ability. CONSTITUTION: A signal storage part(110) classifies signal levels into each frequency within the audible range and stores signals corresponding to the classified signal level. A hearing profile generator(120) generates a user's hearing profile based on the user's response on the signals. An equalizer(140) adjusts the output of the acoustic based on the hearing profile. The signal storage part classifies the frequency and the signal level based on a standard hearing curve of ISO(International Standards Organization), 266:2003.
