PURPOSE: A red clay brick is provided to prevent the waste of mortar and the contamination of an exterior wall due to the outflow and drop of the mortar. CONSTITUTION: A red clay brick(1) comprises two protrusion portions(2,2'), mortar contact surfaces(3,3'), an uneven portion(4), a contact protrusion portion(5), corner slope portions(6,6',7,7'), an adhesion mortar laminating portion, and a magic line. The mortar contact surfaces are stepped inward of the two protrusion portions. The uneven portion is formed in the center part of the mortar contact surfaces. The contact protrusion portion is protruded from the back side of the red clay brick. The corner slope protrusions are arranged at each corner of the red clay brick. Some of mortar is pushed up to both sides of the mortar contact surfaces to form the adhesion mortar laminating portion. The magic line is formed in the corner slope portions in which a lower contact slope portion and an upper contact slope portion are engaged.
