摘要 PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring a tapered leaf spring for a vehicle are provided to rapidly and accurately measure a thickness change per each length of the leaf springs and to rapidly confirm and verifies the acceptance or refusal of the corresponding leaf spring. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring a tapered leaf spring for a vehicle comprises a bed(10), a first displacement sensor(20), a second displacement sensor(21), a sensor support unit(30), a convey unit(40), and a control unit(50). The tapered leaf spring is placed on a top surface of the bed. The first and second displacement sensors are separated at predetermined space while facing each other around the tapered leaf spring placed on the bed. The transferring unit transfers the sensor support unit to a longitudinal direction of the tapered leaf spring. The control unit calculates thickness information per each length of a tapered unit based on information obtained from the first and second displacement sensors. The control unit outputs the acceptance or refusal of a product by comparing the information of set criteria for acceptance or refusal and the calculated thickness information per each length of the tapered unit.
